Biography
Marios Stavrou, MBCI, is an operational resilience, business continuity, crisis management and critical infrastructure professional, with a particular focus on dependency mapping, cascading risk and advanced stress-testing.
He has led the design, governance and continuous improvement of Operational Resilience, Business Continuity and Crisis Management capabilities in public-private ecosystems, combining enterprise resilience and BCM frameworks with real-world crisis operations to strengthen governance, recovery capability, executive decision-making and organisational readiness.
His work includes designing and leading complex tabletop and field exercises that challenge executive decisions, critical dependencies, recovery assumptions, cross-functional coordination and command structures under realistic pressure — spanning critical infrastructure, energy and power disruption, cyber-related incidents, supply-chain dependencies and multi-agency crisis environments.
