Manuel Bissey

Manuel Bissey is EMEA Cybersecurity Services Leader at IBM Consulting and a member of the Global Council for Business Resilience Advisory Board.

He has been working in cybersecurity since 1998, holding senior leadership roles at IBM, Microsoft, DXC Technology and BT, and helping organizations navigate successive waves of technology, security and business transformation.

Today, his focus is on the next major shift: the convergence of AI, automation and cybersecurity. He works with organizations across Europe and the Middle East to rethink cyber resilience and move beyond traditional, reactive defense toward more autonomous, adaptive and intelligence-driven security models.

Manuel is particularly interested in how technology, geopolitics and digital sovereignty are reshaping cyber risk — and how organizations can build the resilience and trust required to operate in an increasingly complex and uncertain world.
