Biography
James Hermanson is Advisor in the Office of the OECD Director for Global Relations and OECD Sherpa to the G7, G20 and APEC. Based in Paris, he works on the international economic agenda linking governments, markets and supply chains.
His recent work includes OECD analysis on critical minerals and supply-chain resilience, including how traceability measures can support reliable, responsible and secure access to resources that have become central to economic security. He has contributed to OECD engagement with partners across government, the private sector and civil society on these themes.
At the Paris Resilience Summit he joins the panel debate on critical materials, water and energy.
