Biography
Alexia Michiels is Co-founder and Partner at Resilience Institute. Belgian-Swiss, she holds a degree in Commercial and Consular Sciences and spent ten years in marketing and media at Procter & Gamble, RTL Bertelsmann and the World Federation of Advertisers. She then lived five years in China, where she met Dr Sven Hansen, founder of The Resilience Institute, and joined his team. Convinced by his research-based, data-driven approach, she came to understand that resilience needs to be cultivated daily, mobilising body, heart, mind and spirit.
Today she accompanies leaders and teams across many countries as they build their resilience skills to navigate ongoing change with care and success. Alexia is the author of The Resilience Drive (Favre, 2017) and Resilience Quotient – Leadership with Heart and Purpose (Favre, 2021).
